Carter being his cute self;).
When we got home from sealing the boys to us, we blessed the boys right away since everyone was still dressed up. Talon did great but Carter was not happy about it. We put the boys down for a nap while we all ate lunch so that they wouldn't be grumpy during gift opening! When the boys woke up, we opened up presents. The boys loved all their gifts and they got some really cool toys. They didn't quite know to rip off the wrapping paper yet so we had the cousin that was giving the gift help them unwrap it. It worked out pretty well. Ian (one of the cousins) did give us one gem though. After everyone sat down to watch the boys open presents, Ian said something to the effect of "Wait, not everyone is getting presents?" The poor looked devastated. I can''t blame him though. 90% of the time when the whole family is together we are exchanging early Christmas gifts.
Afterwards, we did cake and they loved making a big mess. And no, we did not let them mess up their whole cake. They got a slice just like everyone else.
It was super fun having all of our family and close friends over to help us celebrate this great day with us. A day we will always remember!!!
