We recently found out that my sister-in-law, Emily, (Daniel's sister) is going to be having one boy and one girl. We are so EXCITED for her!!! Emily and I have gotten really close over these last few years because she and I were struggling to get pregnant at the same time. After years of trying and finally doing IVF, she got pregnant with twins. She has one cute little girl right now that will be 6 in December and so she ended up with secondary infertility. IVF is really really expensive and so I let her go through all my baby boy clothes and take whatever she wanted. Since she has a girl, she already has a ton of girl clothes. I had a lot to pick from because my boys had a ton of clothes. Of course she didn't need all of them because she is only having one boy. I've been saving them for her every since I found out she was pregnant and I'm glad she is able to use some of them.
I've been collecting baby clothes every since we started trying to have a baby (2007) and I've collected a lot over the years. Boy and girl clothes. If I found a really good sale, I would buy it. I've gotten a lot of baby clothes for $1-3 over the years. It sure came in handy when I ended up with two boys at once! Now I'm just hoping I will be able to use all these baby girl clothes!
Here is a picture of all the baby clothes (girl and boy) and this is after Emily took most of the boy clothes, yet I still have a lot left! I am giving the remainder of my boy's clothes to my best friend who just had a baby.
I was able to organize everything by size yesterday and I now have all the girl clothes put away. I also put lots of stuff in the attic and so hopefully soon we can start working on turning this into the boy's room.
