Ok so I haven't blogged on here in a month now, so I think it is time for an update. About three weeks ago, Daniel and I drove down with his sister, Emily, her husband, Jeremy, and their daughter, Molly to San Antonio for a little family reunion with his family. It was a really fun weekend and we had a blast. We stayed with Emily, Jeremy and Molly in a two bedroom resort style condo.
On Friday night, we basically just hung out with Daniel's family. We played some games and had lots of fun. The next day was the most fun. Daniel's parents are the best because they gave us all some money to go shopping at the outlet stores in San Marcos. I think we spent like 7 hours shopping so you could say that I was in heaven. That night we decided to all go to the river walk. We basically just walked around the area and went into some little stores that were selling some very interesting stuff.
Well on our way home, Daniel's sister Laura and her husband Jared wanted Krispy Kream doughnuts. So we were following them in our car since we took two cars. Well Jared had a GPS and had looked up Krispy Kream before we had left and so it had the address. Finally, about 30 minutes later we get a phone call saying they found it. The only problem was that we were in the middle of no where with not one store in site. So needless to say, they didn't get their doughnuts. All I have to say is that we all had a good laugh.
The next day we were all going to head down to see the San Antonio temple. Well Emily ended up with pink eye and so we decided it would be best to get her to an emergency care to take care of her eye. So everyone else went to the temple while we set out to find an urgent care center. When we finally got to the place, they wouldn't accept her insurance so we had to end up taking her to the hospital ER instead. So we dropped her off and headed to the temple, since it was right up the street. Since it was a Sunday, the temple gates were locked and so we just sat outside the gates and chated. Once Emily was done we picked her up, grabbed a bite to eat, headed back to Pottery Barn outlet to do a little more shopping and then headed back home.

I also got to see my friend Jennifer Wiglama (Sullivan) recently. She was in town from Utah and so she stopped by to see me. We basically just hung out at my house and then met up with Daniel and tried a new funky pizza restaurant. Jennifer used to be one of my really good friends in CS and so I don't get to see her much anymore since she has left Texas. So it is always good to catch up with old friends.
So last week I went with one of my friends to hobby lobby because she wanted to get a new scrapbook. Well while I was there, I started looking at all the cool stuff they had to decorate a scrapbook and I decided that I wanted to start that back up. I had started a scrapbook of Daniel and me before we got married but it has been sitting in a closet ever since then. So for almost two years now. Well this past week, I made it over to hobby lobby a few time since they are having a huge sale on their scrapbook paper and supplies. I have basically finished the scrapbook that I had put off forever. I was going to do our first year of marriage but after starting on it I discovered that just our wedding, honeymoon, and reception took up the whole book. So all I have left to do is the front page and then I am done. Now I am starting on the second scrapbook and that one is going to basically be our first year of marriage since we took like 6 vacations and built our house that year.
