A few weeks ago Daniel and I headed down to Houston to visit my brother John. He just bought his first house and so I promised him that I would help him decorate. We got into Houston on Friday night and went ahead and stopped by his place since it was on the way. I also had my car packed full of stuff that we were giving him to help him out.
The next day we got up and started packing up the moving truck and several cars. He had some buddies from work that were kind enough to give up their Saturdays to help him out so it didn't take long at all to unload everything. My mom, my friend, Autumn, and I headed off to Lowes to pick up some items that he needed and some paint. I think they sent the wrong sex because it took us a while to figure out where everything was. But we finally found it all and headed back to his place. I picked out a color that would look good in his family room/dining room (turned computer room now) and we got the whole room painted in a few hours. It goes by pretty fast when you have four people painting all at one time.
The next morning, Daniel and I woke up bright and early and headed back over to John's house to help him with a few more things for a couple of hours. Then we headed back home because we had our friends Deanna and Mark were meeting us at our house to spend the week with us.
