I've been buying a few baby items these last few weeks and trying to get prepared. We need to be prepared for whatever happens....at least for everything you need for the first few weeks. Then hopefully I can have a baby shower and the baby will get to attend!
We are decorating our nursery in a safari theme because we can do that for both a boy or a girl. And what kid doesn't like animals?!?!
It's a little bare right now but I can't wait to decorate it!
Daniel and I had to go do our CPR training and we decided to go look at rockers/recliners before our class. We of course had to go to Lazy Boy first and I found a few that I liked but none that I loved. I had wanted leather because it would be really easy to clean up but leather is so much more expensive and I didn't want to pay too much for a chair.
We went to a few more stores and I just couldn't find one that I loved. We had a difficult time because I need a chair that my feet can touch the ground but also one that is tall so that Daniel's can rest his head. That is a hard thing to find especially with Daniel being almost a foot taller than me.
We decided to stop by one more store super fast since we had our CPR class soon. I walked in and sat in a few leather recliners but all the ones I liked were more than I was willing to pay. Then the sales guy talked me into sitting in a few microfiber chairs. The second one I sat in, I just knew that was the chair for me. I just melted into it and it was perfect! The price was also right and so we didn't get a chance to really look at it since we were running late. We headed to our class (which we ended up being 5 minutes late) and then headed back over the the furniture store after wards. I sat in it again and I still loved it. I decided to wait on buying it because I didn't know which color to get.

I went back over to the store a week later and made my purchase. Unfortunately, it is on back order for a few months:(
Update: Here is pics of the room now that I received my chair (which I love). I had to move the room around a little in order for it to all fit together a little bit better.
