I leave sippy cups filled with water out during the day so that they can drink anytime they want. Unfortunately, when they are tipped on their side, they usually leak. I
guess my boys have seen me clean up the water a lot because now when
they see water on the carpet, they say "oh no!" Then they go into the
kitchen, grab a towel out of the drawer, bring it over to the wet spot
and either soak it up with the towel by stepping on it with their feet
or patting it with their hands. They are becoming quite the little helpers around the house. They will even put their dirty dishes in the sink!
