A few days ago, I put the boys down for their naps as usual. After about 45 minutes, they were finally quiet. So I started preparing my lunch because I was starving when I heard them up again. They were just talking and laughing and so I just let them be. Right as I was finishing my sandwich I heard Carter start to scream. I was thinking either he had his leg stuck in the railing or he was trying to climb out of the crib and got stuck. What I saw when I walked in completely shocked me!
When I walked in, Carter's pants were laying on the floor and he had removed half of his diaper. The straps were attached to each other but the rest of the diaper was just hanging off of his rear. I could smell poop so I picked him up and put him on the changing table. I begin to clean him off which seemed like it took forever because it was all over and stuck to his little butt cheeks! After I got a new diaper on, I decided I needed to remove his shirt because he had poop on it and go wash his hands. When I came back in the room, I had to clean up on the poop on the crib sheet and change his sheets. I've heard horror stories of this happening with my friend's kids but their kids usually end up smearing it all over everything. I got LUCKY! All he did was play with it (yuck!) and smash it together. Still gross but at least it wasn't hard to clean up.
After I got him all cleaned up, I noticed that Talon had removed his shirt. As the day went on, Talon took his shirt off 2 more times. I hope this does not become a habit because he is stretching the neck of his shirt all out. But I would much rather him remove his shirt than his poopy diaper!!!
Before I cleaned up the poop, I snapped a picture with my phone and sent it to Daniel in a text message. He writes me back and says "blueberry? Up his nose I am guessing?" HA....I wish it was a blueberry! That would be one big blueberry because it was the size of my palm. I guess he couldn't tell from the text message picture. Last week we found out that Talon had been putting food up his nose. I actually found some blueberries in his crib. Luckily, he isn't do this anymore!
Such a sad face ): I tried putting the boys down for a second nap a few hours later since they only took a 20 minute nap earlier in the day. This is when Talon kept removing his shirt and then standing in his crib crying. After removing it two more times, I just went in and got him because he obviously wasn't going to nap. I didn't want him keeping Carter up because he has a little cold right now and needs his sleep.

Trying to figure out how to put his shirt back on. He has apparently mastered taking it off but putting it back on.
Having Talon and mommy time. He loves for me to throw the screaming monkey and then he runs to get it and brings it back. I don't know how many times we did this. Thank goodness the monkey is breaking and doesn't scream every time I throw it!
